Question: "...Are you marking your prices properly? "
Answer: If you are an institution, you know that stale prices can hurt you. Many reporting services only list the last known and reported trade price for a particular security. Many times this price is months or even many years old. One acceptable way of dealing with this is to have someone manually calculate the new marks. Another way is to run dynamic implied prices. These prices are market oriented and each trade or benchmarked update generally tightens the price discovery process.
